Once again we will help the community through our High Holy Day Hunger Drive. Return the empty grocery bag you will find on your seat. An envelope for contributions to Mazon will also be provided.
We will meet at Temple to walk to Frontier Park with Torah, Shofar and Spirit. If you don't want to walk, please meet us at Frontier Park. BYOB (Bring Your Own Breadcrumbs) to toss into the water. Refreshments will be served at Frontier Park following the service.
It is traditional to visit the graves of loved ones in the time immediately before the Days of Awe. We gather together for brief community graveside services, followed by private reflection, at both Laurel Hill and Anshe Hesed Cemeteries.

Conducted by Rabbi Bush. The lights are dimmed as the voices of Cantor Weiss, the choir and Elaine Schuster on the harp fill the Sanctuary with Kol Nidrei. Once more, Atonement Day has come. We come together and reflect in a way that only this day can evoke.
During this time, congregants may gather to meditate, reflect and discuss themes of the day in the Currick Chapel.
Our observance of Yom Kippur continues in the Currick Memorial Chapel with our special High Holy Day Family Prayer Books. All are welcome.
When our afternoon service begins in the Schuster Sanctuary, our worship continues without interruption until Havdalah at approximately 6:00 PM. Please join us in a light Break the Fast following the blowing of the Shofar.
Break the Fast has become our traditional way of celebrating the beginning of our new Year. Once again this year, it is being hosted by the Ruth Blick Silver Fund. Harry Silver established this fund in memory of his wife, Ruth. Harry married Ethel Shapira and later returned to live in Erie. We will remember Harry, Ruth and Ethel as we Break the Fast.
This event is free and open to our entire congregation. Please bring a kugel to share and join us as we break challah together.

L'dor V'dor: From generation to generation.
Help us celebrate as another generation begins its Jewish Journey.
We will celebrate the cycle of the reading of the Torah with the Simchat Torah Celebration and Consececration service of our young Gesher students. We will gather in the Schuster Sanctuary as we dance with the Torah scrolls and Simchat Torah flags throughout the Temple.
All congregants are invited to celebrate with the Gesher Program students.
